Without conclusive science, its a constant fight to protect children's health.
A new law to slash diesel pollution from trucks and buses by 95% could decrease asthma and cancer risk ... its being challenged by the petroleum industry.
Congress is considering legislation to require schools to use safer pest controls. The law was killed in committee last Fall, and again this Spring.
And while the Food Quality Protection Act has strictly limited the use of three toxic pesticides.., theres no law that requires testing of thousands of new chemicals for effects on the developing brain."Read more...
